All details surrounding the 2027 Graduation Commencement activities are currently tentative, pending final school board calendars and operational confirmations. Families should refrain from booking non-refundable travel parameters around these dates until official district approval is finalized later in the academic year.

Saucon Valley School District is proud to share planning logistics for the celebration of our graduating seniors. To assist students, parents and community members in their planning, the scheduled windows for the graduation ceremonies are outlined below.

  • Commencement Ceremony: Friday, June 4, 2027 (TENTATIVE)
  • Ceremony Timeframe: 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.
  • Official Rain Date: Saturday, June 5, 2027 (TENTATIVE)
  • Rain Date Timeframe: 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.
  • Ceremony Location: Montford E. Illick Stadium Located adjacent to Saucon Valley High School

Preliminary Spectator Guidelines

To ensure a safe, organized, and dignified experience for all graduates and their guests at Montford E. Illick Stadium, please note the following preliminary protocols:

  • Weather Contingencies: In the event of minor inclement weather on Friday, June 4, the ceremony may be delayed or adjusted. If a full cancellation is necessary, the ceremony will shift to the Saturday, June 5 rain date.
  • Stadium Seating: Seating inside Montford E. Illick Stadium is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Dedicated accessible seating areas will be cordoned off for guests with mobility needs.
  • Ticket Requirements: Final guidelines regarding ticketing requirements, allocations per graduate, and entrance workflows will be issued by the High School Principal's Office closer to the spring term.
  • Live Stream Broadcast: For family members who are unable to attend in person, the commencement ceremony will be streamed live on the district YouTube portal. Link access parameters will be made available as the event approaches.
